How to Integrate Instagram Channel to Pitchit - A Step-by-Step Guidea

This is a step-by-step guide from our user manual that shows Pitchit users how they can integrate the Instagram channel to Pitchit in order to sync all direct messages and comments on posts or ads from a particular business page into their Pitchit consolidated inbox.

Written Instructions

• Log-in to Pitchit
• Navigate to the account settings
• Select the "Connections" tab in your account settings
• Click "Connect to account" in the Instagram module
• Click "Connect" in the pop-up menu
• Choose between two options:
  • Opt in to all current and future Businesses
    • This is helpful if you plan on gaining access to additional Instagram assets in the future
  • Opt in to current Businesses only
    • Choose this option if you don't anticipate gaining access to any additional Instagram assets in the future
• Check the box next to the Meta Business Manager that you are trying to connect to Pitchit
  • Important: The Meta Business Manager you select must be linked to the Instagram Business Page you are trying to connect to Pitchit
• Check the box next to the Facebook Business Page that is tied to the Instagram Business Page you want to connect to Pitchit
• Check the box next to the Instagram Business Page you want to connect to Pitchit
  • Important: The Instagram Business Page you want to connect to Pitchit must be connected to the Facebook Page Page you connected in earlier steps
  • Important: You must have admin access to each of the following Instagram assets
    • Meta Business Manager
    • Meta Ad Account
    • Instagram Business Page
  • Review the details in the next pop-up window, and click "Save"
  • Click "Got it" and you should be returned to the Connections tab in your account settings
